These unique abstract paintings are done in acrylic paint with metal leaf added for texture and variety. A base color is painted as the first layer. After that dries, additional colors are added with a brush, palette knife or sponge. Once the second layer is dry gold-toned, copper-toned or silver toned foil leaf is added throughout the piece. After that has dried additional acrylic paints are sponged to create unity in the piece. These pieces would be a stunning focal point in your home.
